Open the KeyGuard

For new KeyGuards, pull down on the bottom black tab (center, bottom) to 'clear' the combination. Then open the KeyGuard by pulling down on the top tab.

Locate Yellow Buttons

The yellow buttons will need to be turned in order to enter your combination. Remove the clear plastic tool so that you can set your combination.

Turn the Buttons

Choose a combination that is easy for you to remember. Use the flat-head edge of the tool to turn the buttons for your code from the upright (^) to downward (v)position.

Lock Your Belongings

You are now ready to lock your things in the KeyGuard. Re-enter the new combination on the keypad to close the KeyGuard. This ensures that you commit the code to memory!
